Bertino & Associates personnel oversaw the persons hired by
GSA for construction management services for the exterior facade
restoration work on the Robert N. C. Nix Federal Building in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This work is very sensitive due to
its historic value. The Nix Federal Building was built circa
1932 and has shown serious deterioration. Due to this factor,
the team was required to provide individuals with significant
historic restoration experience.
The team was selected to provide Construction Management
Services to oversee construction and coordinate all of the
projects. Services included inspection and documentation, cost
and schedule control, preparation of change orders and progress
payments, review of submittals and response to contractors’
requests for information. |
