and Peabody Halls, as well as White Hall.
The Johnson and Hardwick complex includes two 11-story
high-rise residence halls, with double rooms for students.
The halls feature a campus dining center, laundry facilities,
social and study lounges, recreational areas, a television room,
a fitness center and two soundproof rooms with a piano.
Peabody Hall, which is near the Johnson and Hardwick complex,
is complete with a computer lab, game room, and fitness center.
White Hall houses 560 students in four-person suites with
private baths. It features a fitness and aerobics room, two game
rooms, laundry facilities and study lounges.
The renovations were completed by only disturbing the
locations necessary to accomplish the work. The buildings were
kept open during the renovations and a expansive safety program
implemented.
The Projects included among other things: brick repair,
window replacement, roof repairs and replacement, door and
hardware upgrades, life safety upgrades, room renovations,
dining area upgrades.
